Pain in wrist and hand is usually after trauma in accidents or sports involving mainly the ligaments, tendons (Trigger finger, mallet finger, gamekeepers thumb etc.) or sometimes the bony structures (Scaphoid fracture, Colle’s fracture, metacarpals and phalynx injuries etc.)
Sometimes it can be an overuse and/or a job related condition which may lead to inflamation in tendons around your thumb (De Quervains Synovitis), Arthritis of thumb, compression of nerves (Carpal tunnel syndrome) and many more!!
Sooner or later you would always require physiotherapeutic help be it a first contact treatment or post surgical…. We can help you to make your wrist and hand back to function!!
Elbow pains can be of either traumatic or following overuse (Job Related) it mostly involves pain in the attachment of muscles of forearm (Tennis Elbow, Golfer’s elbow)
Ligaments (which help to support the Elbow) can be sprained, and the cartilage between the elbow joint can also be damaged following throwing an heavy objects or in sports such as bowling, short put, Javelin throwing etc…
Tendon injuries, inflammations and sometimes joint problems (like olecranon bursitis)
Post fracture (Plaster cast/post-surgical) stiffness and pain may hamper the hand function
All of these can successfully be treated and managed by us…. along with minimal chances of recurrence!!
Problems with the shoulder can also be multifaceted varying from traumatic (Sports/fall/accidents) to overuse injuries (Sports/job type) to as small as poor posture leading to bigger shoulder problems….
There can be problems involving muscles and tendons (Supraspinatus tendinitis, rotator cuff injuries, bicipital tendinitis etc.)
Joints and soft tissues around them can also be involved following trauma or immobilization (Frozen shoulder, Adhesive capsulitis, Labral injuries, Bursitis etc.)
Sometimes following trauma integrity of joints may also be affected (Shoulder Dislocations, AC joint dislocations etc.)
Come to us, we ensure that we would take the best possible care of your shoulders… so that they are ready to bear all your responsibilities with smile…
Unlike peripheral parts pain in head and neck is mostly due to poor posture and work habits and seldom it occurs following trauma….
A poor posture renders Muscles of one side weak and other side overactive and eventually tight leading to postural syndromes, muscular problems (upper cross syndrome, trigger points) and if not corrected early may lead to joint problems (Cervical Spondylosis, cervical disc prolapse) that might compress a nerve and lead to radiating pain in arms.
A trigger point on the other hand may also give referred pain to back side of head, over the eyes (cervicogenic headaches), in upper back, shoulders and arm.
We work at the baseline n work to correct your muscle imbalances that cause your symptoms…
so visit us and ensure your symptoms never bother you again!!
Back pain!! it’s the most common and most disabling musculoskeletal problem and many clinicians miss to find out the source of your pain and are limited to traditional diagnosis of ‘slipped disc’ or ‘spondylosis’. We at ‘Healing Hands’ believe that diagnosing back pain is not as simple as it appears to be!!
Keeping many factors in mind like working habits, back posture, muscle imbalances, mobility of spine and many others, we try to figure out what actually is causing the problem and make a plan about how to alleviate the symptoms and prevent their recurrence.
We also consider other causes of back pain too (like SI joint dysfunction, facet locking, rotatory vertebral dysfunctions, piriformis syndrome, pelvic dysfunctions, scoliosis etc.)
Hip disorders can be difficult to diagnose as the lumbar spine can refer to this area. A thorough musculoskeletal examination will determine the underlying cause of the hip pain. There are many factors which can lead to hip and groin pain.
Muscle imbalance or pelvic misalignment leading to altered forces through the hip muscles (Trochanteric bursitis usually caused by altered loading of the hip)
Joint damage caused by trauma or overuse (Osteoarthritis, Labrum tears)
Knee injuries usually result from a trauma, or direct blow i.e. tackle in football. However knee pain can come on for no apparent reason and is usually as a result of an underlying biomechanical problem such as an old ankle sprain, or a hip injury.
Ligaments (which help to support the knee) can be sprained, and the cartilages (menisci) can also be damaged.
The knee cap (patellar) can also be a problem causing extreme pain around the front of the knee.
Osteoarthritis of the knee occurs with poor biomechanics over a long period of time.
We believe knee stabilization and strength is the key for success management of knee problems… We ensure to make your knee capable to take you where ever you want!!
Sprain of the ankle results in soft tissue and ligament damage. Footballer’s ankle causes repeated trauma to the bones on the front of the ankle joint, causing the ankle to swell. Usually as a result of repeated trauma such as kicking a football.
Pain in the sole (Plantar fasciitis), heel (calcaneal spur) which is inflammation of the arch of the foot or abnormal bone growth, can occur as a result of a bad sprain, or poor biomechanics and misfit footwear.
Tendo Achilles tendonitis is usually an overuse injury occurring from repeated stresses such as running for long periods on roads. This results in the tendon becoming inflamed and is usually stiff first thing on a morning.
Metatarsalgia is when the balls of the feet become inflamed, commonly caused by wearing high heels, running on hard surfaces in poor shoes and wearing flip flops.
Bunions occur on the big toe. Usually the foot tends to have a flat arch which causes abnormal rotational forces through the big toe resulting in soft tissue damage and inflammation.
Stress fracture usually occurs in the small bones of the feet as a result of repeated trauma such as long distance running.
The Treatment & counselling received at Healing Hands has been exemplary & I recovered almost fully. Earlier it was very tough for me to move with back problems. But the updated therapy received with prescriptions given online and offline is praiseworthy. Hopefully the facility in Hisar will help lot of people to recover fully.
From the last ten years, I was suffering from knee pain, obesity and lack of energy. I consulted many doctors but nobody had a permanent solution to my ailment. Then a physio of Healing Hands (Kolkata Branch) came to my rescue!! without giving any medications, he just cured me only through exercises. Within a year my knee pain has completely vanished & I have lost 8 Kgs and now I am energetic and full of life!!
Being a teacher is a full time job!! and painful too… I had pain in both my back and neck and sometimes it was so severe that it used to affect my teaching. Then one day I visited ‘Healing Hands – Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation’ and had a sitting for release for my neck with what they call ‘MFR’ and three sessions for dry needling. Manual therapy for back and regular exercises made me totally pain-free!! Now following their instructions I am working on strength of my trunk muscles so that my pain does not come back again!! I strongly recommend to visit this wonderful place to get relief from all of your body pains!! Thank You Healing Hands Team!!
I had a fall from tree 3 yrs back and was bent towards a side since then. Though it was not painful but my friends used to make fun of me and was not able to get selected in my regions kabaddi team. I consulted here at healing hands and within 3 sittings in a gap of 1 week each I was completely straight!! It’s like magic … I am no more teased now and am a important part of my college’s kabaddi team.
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 20 years back and my situation was gradually worsening and I was bed ridden and so disabled that I was not able to even sit. Consulted Healing hands for home visits and today I am independent in every aspect of my life and am able to manage well with my deformed joints.
I had a surgery for ligament injury in my knee. I was referred to Healing Hands Physiotherapy centre and began my physiotherapy soon after the operation. A month after the operation I was able to begin playing golf again and attend the gym. I cannot praise highly enough the treatment I received from Deepak and his team. My progress was continually assessed and different exercises given on a regular basis to return my knee and leg back to normal. I would recommend anyone to Healing Hands Physiotherapy centre where the treatment and facilities are second to none!!
